Automotive Interior Repairs and stain removal

October 3rd, 2008

Stains in automotive carpet can be very difficult to get out, even though automotive carpet is made of a synthetic material and resists some staining all stains should be treated. The question most asked is how do I get those ugly black, brown and sometimes red stains out of my cars carpeting.

The trick is to, and, it’s not even a trick, it’s in the timing, and it dosen’t matter what kind of stain it is, but how soon you treat it and the knowledge of what to do, how to do it and what you use. Getting to a spill before it soaks in is your best  defence against having a stain in your carpet. If you spill something on your carpet wipe it and soak it up as soon as possible with old rags, towels ,paper towels or what ever you have available. Then flush it with clean water and wipe and soak up the water with clean rags or towels. But thats not always the case and thats where this little guide will help you. But really, if you can wipe up the stain as soon as possible it will be a great help in getting the stain out later when you have more time.
